The HGS Elementary Beta Club held a food drive this spring to benefit the Open Door Food Pantry of Perquimans County. Students had the opportunity to visit the food pantry and deliver their collected goods in person. During the trip, they also learned about the services of the food pantry and receiving an engaging lesson from the NC Cooperative Extension about making healthy beverage choices.
